Master of the world who can do anything, the secret of the dreidel fills all the worlds and surrounds all the worlds.

Grant me the merit all eight days of Hanukah to spin with the dreidel and to sanctify time and understanding of the heart in the spinning of the dreidel that fills all the worlds and surrounds all the worlds.

And through the spin of the dreidel we rise up to the reisha d'lo ityada (the head which is unknown).

And through the spin of the dreidel may the verses be fulfilled, "there will fall from your side a thousand, and a multitude from your right, to you they will not approach", "from sorrow save me, surround me, Selah".

And I will spin with the dreidel day and night = 177 without rest and without pause and through this may we merit to enter with our bodies into Gan Eden = 177.

Rabbi Berland's Chanuka Prayer #1367 For A New Start And Defeating The Yetzer Hara

'A PRAYER BEFORE LIGHTING THE HANUKAH CANDLES AND BEFORE WE RECEIVE THE NEW LIGHTS OF ROSH CHODESH'

Master of the world who can do anything, may I merit before lighting the Hanukah candles, to have intention to light the light of the soul, and to ignite the soul with precious lights, from the ten Sefirot from Keter to Malchut, because the Hanukah candles include the three unifications of ner (250), havaya (26) and ekieh (21), havaya elokim (112), havaya adni (91) = ner (250).

And like the Ramchal writes, that Moshe prayed 515 prayers, because within the 515 prayers are included all of the unifications which are written in the Siddur of the Arizal.

Because in each and every Hanukah in each and every year, there begins a completely new beginning, a beginning that there never was before, which can't even be found in the three Festivals, because there is nothing like the festival of Hanukah in the rest of the Festivals.

Because the three Festivals are on account of us leaving Egypt, Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur are days of forgiveness and repentance, and fixing our traits and actions.

Whereas the days of Hanukah are days of victory of the Yetzer Tov over the Yetzer Hara, because two times Hanukah = 178, Gan Eden +1 = 178 because then we enter with our bodies into Gan Eden +1 = 178.

And therefore we have the intention in lighting the candles to ignite the light of the soul until it completely nullifies its reality and remains just a soul alone.

1358 Rabbi Berland's Prayer To Go Higher And Higher Like The Dreidel

Master of the world who can do anything, before I spin the dreidel, I turn to You with an open request, and I bow before You on my knees, in bowing and prostrating, that You will raise me up from the depths of oblivion, from hell and perdition, to Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon.

In the power of the spinning, as now I am going to spin the dreidel, which through this the heels of Leah will be encompassed in the crown of Rachel, the secret of Migdal Eder (274), which is the numerical value of Rachel and Leah.

Because the Targum Yonatan says that from Migdal Eder will come Moshiach ben David, like it says, "and you Migdal Eder, Ophel of the daughter of Zion, they will come back to you, and the original kingdom will arrive, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem".

Because, "many are the pains of the wicked, but the one who trusts in G-d kindness will surround him (yesovvenu)", from the word 'sevivon' (dreidel), that kindness surrounds a person, which is an aspect of the dreidel which spins and rises higher and higher.

And may there be fulfilled in me the verses that we say every day during the Hallel of Hanukah, "all the nations surround me, in the name of Hashem I cut them down; they encircle me and also surround me, in the name of Hashem I cut them down; they encircle me like bees, but they are extinguished like a fire of thorns, in the name of Hashem I cut them down."

That in the merit of the dreidel, they will all be extinguished like fire of thorns, and the oil will go be consumed until it is finished, because the oil alludes to the nations of the world and the wick and the fire to Am Yisrael.
